We invite you all to our general PTSA meeting this coming Wednesday, March 23rd at 7 p.m. in the Dimmitt Library. We need at least 10 members to attend so we can vote in an Executive Committee for the 2016-2017 school year.
The meeting agenda includes:
- Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-6)
- Clothes for the Cause Fundraiser (May)
- Dimmitt Community Showcase (May 12)
- Carnival (June)
- Election of Executive Committee
Speaking of a new Executive Committee, we have one nomination; Tina Wyche served as Secretary this past year and is willing to be nominated again. We are accepting nominations for all positions:
- Vice President
Without an Executive Committee, our chapter cannot remain in good standing. This year, we earned a Gold Level Membership Award with 51 members. It would be a shame to lose momentum! Our current Vice President and Treasurer graciously served this year even though their students no longer attend Dimmitt, and our President’s student will be at the high school next year. We hope you will consider stepping up to a leadership role. It’s fun to work together for the good of our school community, and it’s not a huge time commitment!
