Conferences: Dinner for Staff & Concessions on 11/25

Conferences are next week and PTSA has 2 things planned for Tuesday, November 25th that need your help:
  1. Dinner for Staff – we’d like to fortify the staff that stay late for Conferences with hot soup, rolls, dessert and beverages.  If you’d like to contribute to the meal (or make a donation towards it), please follow this Volunteerspot link –  http://vols.pt/gQa2dz
  2. Sell Concessions – as a treat for families and PTSA fundraiser, we’re planning to sell concessions during Conferences.  There are 2 shifts to choose from (so you still have time to do your student’s conferences).  If you’d like to help, please follow this Volunteerspot link – http://vols.pt/aAihKc
Volunteerspot only requires you to enter your email address, then choose your spot(s).  It will not share your email address with anyone.  If you prefer not to use Volunteerspot, please email us at dimmittptsa@gmail.com.
PTSA encourages you to attend Conferences so you can meet with each of your student’s teachers.  Conferences take place in the gym:
  • Monday, November 24th from 12 – 2:45 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 25th from 1 – 2:45 p.m. or 4 – 6:45 p.m.
In addition, you are invited to an informative and helpful presentation on Standards-Based Grading at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25th in the Library with Principal Anna Horton.
Conferences affect the schedule.  This Friday, 11/21, has regular start and dismiss times, 7:55 a.m. – 2:35 p.m. – NOT LATE START.  And next week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (11/24- 11/26) are 1/2 days, so Dimmitt students attend school 7:55 – 11:00 a.m.  There is no school Thursday or Friday (11/27 & 11/28) in honor of Thanksgiving.
